Become an inaugural member of the IGS's exciting new opportunity for Corporate Members.

Introduced in January, this year, IGS Premium Corporate Membership is the ideal way for Corporate Members to elevate their involvement with the IGS, giving members greater access to the Society's networks, more direct engagement with IGS initiatives, and in turn, strengthen IGS accountability to all members.

Currently eight Corporate Members have upgraded to the new scheme, and will enjoy benefits including preferential access to exhibition space and facilities at IGS conferences. Premium Corporate Members will work with the IGS to establish a presence at industry events that do not normally include geosynthetics at all, as part of a campaign to spread the word about the benefits of using the materials.

At an annual fee of $18,000, members will also help drive the delivery of IGS projects such as the IGS Handbook and Professional Development Courses.

IGS President Sam Allen said: "This new initiative was driven by the needs of our Corporate Members who wanted greater engagement with us and to grow their networks. I'm delighted with the highly positive response so far and hope more Corporate Members will add their valued involvement to the scheme."

The IGS is expected to formally welcome Premium Corporate Members at the next major global gathering at GeoAsia8 in Brisbane, in June.

Become a Founding Member and take advantage of all these great benefits. For more information, email IGS Executive Director John Kraus at John.Kraus@geosyntheticssociety.org.
